Illinois Insight is an overnight conference offered once each semester. Insight focuses on self-development skills related to you as an individual.

At Illinois Insight, you will learn skills that will help you:

• Understand how you think and why you do the things you do.
• Assess your own strengths and weaknesses.
• Identify your values, motivations, passions and leadership style.

Before coming to Insight, you will take an assessment called the Emotional Competency Inventory – University version (ECI-U). During the program, you have a chance to see your results and assess your personal leadership style. After Insight, you have the unique opportunity to select family members, friends, co-workers and peers to complete the 360 ECI-U assessment about you. A follow-up session is offered a few weeks later to exchange post-conference experiences and receive your 360 results.
