Illinois Intersect is a half-day workshop offered several times each year. Intersect focuses on the development of your interpersonal skills so that you can effectively interact with others and in groups. During Intersect, you learn about different listening styles, building relationships, and developing teams.
At Illinois Intersect, you will learn skills that will help you:
- Understand your communication style and improve your interpersonal skills.
- Build stronger relationships with people from various backgrounds.
- Create and manage successful teams by collaborating, facilitating, and understanding group dynamics.
During the Intersect program, you will participate in activities that help develop team dynamics, leadership skills, and group cohesiveness. The program is physical in nature, illustrative of concepts presented in the program, and ultimately allows participants to learn from each other and their own experiences.
Intersect is FREE for all students thanks to Tony Petullo, our generous donor!
The Illinois Leadership Center welcome faculty, staff, students, and alumni to facilitate our programs. If you are interested in being a facilitator, please fill out an application form through the Login page.
