Why do Illinois students need your support?
In our globally interconnected society, the skills necessary for effective leadership are more complex and multi-faceted now than they have ever been. Moreover, from small organizations to national societies, we need successful leaders now more than ever. John F. Kennedy once stated, "Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other."
During one's higher education is an optimal time to develop the skills for leadership success. The Illinois Leadership Center needs your support to maximize these opportunities for Illinois students. Your gift, large or small, will go directly to student programs and learning opportunities for students.
What would your gift mean?
Excellence is expensive. Financial gifts made to the Illinois Leadership Center go directly to student programming — they allow more students to attend high-quality day-long leadership programs that invest in cutting edge technology and educational methods; they allow the Center to offer more personal leadership Style Assessments such as the DiSC® and StrengthsQuest® (which typically cost between $10-$40/assessment) for free; and they support bringing back distinguished alumni to campus to share their stories and advice to current students.
